A client of mine was applying for a job with HMHR in Corpus Christi Texas.
We did the entire package for him including Interview Coaching which I did myself. He felt confident going into the interview, the asked some identical questions to some of the ones we practiced, they even stopped the interview to tell him how well he had answered 1 particular question, happened to be one we had worked on. The panel of 5 had smiles on their faces at the end of the interview, walked him out, and said that they would get back to him really soon about the position. GREAT we say, so does he.... Well 1 week goes by.... 2 weeks goes by.... 3 weeks go by..... Client and I have been talking about other possible opportunities in the area during week 4, and on day 3 of week 4 he receives a call from the employer. They hired him full time with great compensation, benefits, etc. Great for him...normally we know that 3 week wait to be the wait of death and ultimately ends with no further communication from the employer, but we made sure to send thank you notes to the interview panel and just wait it out. It paid off! |

The TRW companies hiring process takes 6 months for them to complete. So you see it can take a long time. Just keep in touch with them but don't be a pest.

wow...good for him, but typically if I don't hear from a company that says they will contact within a week, I contact them. Shows them your still interested, and persistent.
